Wendron is an English civil parish within the unitary authority of Cornwall
Wendron is a civil parish and village in west Cornwall, England, situated approximately 3 miles (5 km) northeast of the market town of Helston and encompassing a landscape of moorland, agricultural lands, streams, and historic mining settlements.
Formerly the largest parish in the Kerrier district, it includes several smaller villages such as Porkellis, Penmarth, Trenear, Trewennack, Rame, and Carnkie, and is renowned for its exceptionally long history of tin mining.
At the 2021 census, the parish had a population of 3,096, reflecting a community that balances its mining legacy with modern rural life, including footpaths like the Platinum Jubilee Trail and restored landmarks such as the ancient holy well of St Euny in Trewennack, the first listed building registered in Cornwall.
